Brittany Bates and Family

Brittany was a graduating senior when she was adopted by the organization. She experienced many family challenges and was adopted by her Grandmother at an early age. She is presently attending El Camino College with the support of her grandmother who attends classes with her. Her journey to the classroom is not an easy one due to the hustle and bustle of campus life, but even more challenging for Brittany, because she is visually impaired. In order to assist her in her higher education, the Legacy Ladies have purchased a computer designed for the visually impaired, which includes a GPS, in addition to providing she and her family an ocean cruise as a graduation gift. The organization has also bought Brittany a professional wardrobe for her new job, as well as assist her in independent living options. In order to support Brittany with her academic goals, the Legacy Ladies have established a $20,000 trust for her future.
