Student - Professional "Pairing" Program

Legacy Ladies, Inc. recognizes the positive influence that a role model can have on today's youth. However, in certain communities positive role models are scarce. To address this problem, the organization will "pair" students with professionals to provide not only a role model for the student, but also one-on-one interaction between the student and the professional. This summer, the valedictorian of Crenshaw High School, an aspiring neurosurgeon, was "paired" with Dr. Keith Black, world renowned neurosurgeon at Cedars-Sinai Hospital.
