Message From the President

Dear Community Partners, Sponsors, Team Members, and Friends,

Throughout this pandemic we have been forced to adapt to this ever changing environment.  As we continue to provide workshops for our young girls (Torchettes), we will continue to serve as a safety net as a result of their lives being turned upside down.  We have seen the mental stress on their faces as a result of distance learning, toxic households, and abuse, but they are survivors and they are focused on the next chapter of their academic journey. Last year our Torch Awards was a virtual experience, but we had to reimagine how we could bring value this year and connect with you in a healthy and safe way.

So we would be honored if you would join us at our first charity golf tournament, the "Torch Awards on the Greens.” The proceeds will go towards our scholarship for our graduating seniors, and the expansion of our leadership academy, From the School House to 

The White House Leadership Academy.  I hope we can count on you, because “hope” is all they have.

Additional information will be provided in the coming weeks; but in the interim, please mark your calendar for August 30, 2021, as we tee up for scholarships!
