From The School House to the White House

The conference brings together over 200 girls who attend Los Angeles Unified School District.  The core population represents students from low to moderate-income households, with a majority coming from single families and foster homes.  During the conference, there will be an opportunity for the girls to recognize and develop their leadership potential.  They will have an opportunity to develop long-term relationships with other girls from different socio-economic backgrounds, religious faith, community groups, and schools. The workshops will focus on, but not limited to: Financial Literacy, 21st Century Career Opportunities, Steps to Prepare for College, Leadership Skill Assessment, Life skills, and STEAM Careers.  This is an exciting day filled with dynamic speakers and interactive activities.
